On South Maui's finest beach, sits a beautiful oceanfront condominium resort named the Hale Hui Kai. Not only do you enjoy all the wonderful advantages of staying in South Maui(Kihei and Wailea) you get direct access to one of the best beaches in the world. Keawakapu Beach stretches for nearly a mile and enjoys amazing weather with rain only falling 4-6 days a year. The ocean surf is generally small and safe, but still a ton of fun. We seen overhead(5 foot) high waves crashing from time to time, but 95% of the time it's safe for kids and gets some nice waves for sand sliders and boogie boarders. The sunsets from the Hale Hui Kai and Keawakapu Beach are some of the most beautiful in Hawaii with palm trees dancing in front of distant islands while the clouds in the big blue sky light up .... gorgeous. This beach has only 4 resorts/rental places on it and several beautiful private residences so the beach stays relatively empty.
